AURICULAS are hardy perennial plants which will put up with the coldest weather conditions in the border. They are happiest though in a well- drained soil - not too rich - and gritty. It's more usual to grow the Florists' auriculas -particularly the selfs and grey edges - with some protection from heavy rain during the Winter and Spring.
